Did You Know?

Did you know that ‘devolution’ deals by Council leaders in Greater Manchester, the Treasury in Westminster and NHS bodies mean huge changes are already underway, with new systems of governance and a metro-mayor election in May 2017?

How will this affect our lives, our families and communities?
What are the opportunities and dangers?
What are the local responsibilities and resources?
What are the priorities? What are the strategies?
Who decides what and how? Who delivers what and when?

The People’s Plan can help us together to provide:

  1. opportunities for GM citizens and civil society
to have a meaningful say on GM devolution
  2. constructive challenge and improvement
    of GM strategy and delivery

for social, environmental, economic and democratic progress.

Now is the time for citizens and civil society to work together, find out more and have our say.

WELCOME TO THE PEOPLE’S PLAN – together building better !
